Dog Harmony, North West England’s leading dog trainer and behaviourist, recently held two very special events for local dog owners. These events, which were described by many dog owners as life changing, were created to help people build a stronger relationship with their dogs and to give them the tools they need to manage them much more effectively when out for a walk and in groups.

Dog Harmony’s Pack Walk And Dog Clinic Events

Dog Harmony’s Pack Walk and Dog Clinic events were a big success as dog owners got to meet our experienced trainers and dogs got to meet each other and become more familiarised with a pack setting. When the Pack Walk event began, the dogs were barking and acting aggressive towards each other, but, within 30 minutes, the trainers had them sitting next to each other in a calm and relaxed state.

Positive Training Techniques

The extremely experienced trainers very practical in their methodology and ensured that every dog owner understood that a dog is a dog and not a human and they will act as such. Through positive training techniques, Dog Harmony’s lead trainers, Peter and Andy, were able to resolve issues in 2 days what has taken dog owners 6 months of hard work and little results.

Dog owners left the events with more confidence as dog trainers answered any questions they had about managing their reactive dogs. The key to professional dog training and being able to manage your dog in every situation lies in the understanding of the dog’s mind and how they react to different stimuli. Many dog owners who attending these events now have a deeper understanding of why their dogs do some of the things they do and how they can both curb the bad behaviour, while rewarding the good.

With the success of these events, Dog Harmony is already considering adding future events of similar, and all new, content. Be sure to check Dog Harmony’s website and Facebook pages for more information.
